Dermaplane:

Kate provides luxury dermaplane treatments only, as she feels this is best practice for optimal skin results and to ensure it is a relaxing and enjoyable treatment. This is no slap dash treatment. It is an experience with beautiful skin results.

Dermaplane consists of a double cleanse facial to prepare the skin before a full face exfoliation using a medical grade blade. The dermalpane action removes up to 4 weeks of dead skin build up and velous hair. Velous hair is the fair hair that we all have on our faces, otherwise known as peach fuzz, due to its fuzzy appearance. An enzymatic painless peel is then applied to ensure any remaining dead skin cells are removed and the skin has a freshly buffed appearance.

Toner and serums are then applied to hydrate the skin for a refreshing glow. Dermaplanes are completed with an SPF is applied to protect the skin from sun damage.

Freshly dermaplaned skin is more susceptible to sun damage and so it is important to integrate this as part of a healthy skincare routine at home.
